I LOVE this mold! This is my first time using a large slab mold and I was afraid that the silicone liner would be difficult to remove. It was easy peasy. The removable sides were so easy as well. The lid is a must have imo. But I also think it is so fun to have an aesthetically beautiful mold in my soaping room as well!
I've been a soap maker for many years and have used a variety of molds, liners, etc. I am so impressed with the quality of the mold and liner, they are heavy duty and made my life so much easier. Money well spent. The shipping is a bit slow BUT like all good things- they take time.
Custom Craft Tools is 5 STARS all the way when it come to custom service and 10 Stars when it come to the design of this professional crafted box mold . It is a game changer. It is beautifully designed from the materials used to create the box, that has sides that easily slide out, measurements on the side for easy of cutting, and handles that are super strong for carrying. I love the height of the box for either tall skinny bar or for an average height bar, there is lots of room for embeds or piped toppings. Let’s not forget the silicone mold itself, it’s strong enough to hold its own weight and does not collapse into the mold. The silicone mold is easy to clean, make crisp corners and is easy to remove the soap. The lid is a clear plastic so I can keep an eye on the soap as it goes through gel phase. The soap did not overheat and crack. would recommend using this box to anyone

Love this beautiful mold. Happy I made the leap in purchasing it. Took me some to find the right recipe but after using it several times I’m pleased I took the leap.

The mold is beautifully made and functions well—but be warned: it is not compatible with the original Love Your Suds kaleidoscope pull-through disks that measure 2.75" (manufactured for the LYS silicone column mold 2.83").
The inner diameter of this mold is exactly 2.75" which means the older LYS disks don’t fit. You’ll need to purchase an entirely new set of pull-through tools that are just slightly smaller—an unexpected $100 expense.
While I’m giving 5 stars for the superb quality and craftsmanship we all love, I’ll admit I'm disappointed in the lack of transparency. When I reached out to CCT, I was essentially told it was my fault for not realizing that their 2.75" mold measurement wasn’t meant to suggest compatibility with the 2.75" LYS disks. Ironically, or maybe obviously, it’s the identical measurements that make them incompatible.
Given that this mold is co-branded between the companies, I wish this crucial detail of compatible disk size, had been clearly stated in the product listing.

This is a well made product! It has cut my time in half for cutting my soaps and I just can’t say enough on how amazing this product is.
Olympus is well designed and a breeze to use! Changing the wires is so easy, but you will not need to change them often if you loosen your wires when you are finished cutting for the day. It is a simple rule but saves your wires.
Alex did a wonderful job designing this cutter and I would wholeheartedly endorse the purchase of one of these beauties. Did I mention it is easy to clean?

This planer is sturdy, attractive (a nice plus), and takes off just a thin sliver so you don't end up wasting weight on your bar like some planers do.
