While many soapmakers opt to use this mold without a liner, it's important to note that unmolding can be a bit tricky depending on your specific recipe and process. We encourage you to conduct thorough research and experimentation to determine if using the mold without lining suits your needs. To provide an easy solution, we offer precut clear Mylar liners specifically tailored for this mold. I purchased this mold and the 6”mold for trial recipes after seeing them on Holly’s soapmaking you tube videos and when she unmolds the soap it appears to come out easily. I have tried a few times and contacted customer services bc it has been a nightmare to unmold! I waited over 72 hours as advised and then put in freezer for 3 hours and tried to unmold when condensation appears on outside of mold but it was just awful to try to unmold. I now have the soap stuck to one long side piece! I worked so hard on the design so I hope I can get it off without destroying the soap! I followed a recipe from Holly’s soapmaking to see if it would help but I have no clue why it’s so hard for me! I guess I’ll have to line with freezer paper which defeats the purpose of purchasing a clear mold (for pours on you-tube channel videos). I should have purchased the clear one with the clear silicone liner.

Superbly crafted, so easy to fit together, and no lining required. Soap released smoothly, despite only waiting 24 hours. And so easy to wash up afterwards.
I would highly recommend these molds to anyone, what a joy it is to use such beautiful equipment.
As a beginner I research molds and luckily I found this mold somewhere on my searches and love it. It is beautifully constructed and Alex has been great answering my questions.
I love how sturdy and thick this mold is. I bought 2 custom molds so far and would totally buy more in the future. Alex is great and very quick to respond. They are custom built so might take a bit longer to receive but I think they are totally worth the wait!

I love this new soap cutting station. I have made three batches of soap and run it through the machine or the cutter and it cuts just beautifully. I wish I’d had this a long time ago..

I LOVE this mold! This is my first time using a large slab mold and I was afraid that the silicone liner would be difficult to remove. It was easy peasy. The removable sides were so easy as well. The lid is a must have imo. But I also think it is so fun to have an aesthetically beautiful mold in my soaping room as well!
Olympus is well designed and a breeze to use! Changing the wires is so easy, but you will not need to change them often if you loosen your wires when you are finished cutting for the day. It is a simple rule but saves your wires.
Alex did a wonderful job designing this cutter and I would wholeheartedly endorse the purchase of one of these beauties. Did I mention it is easy to clean?

I can't believe I ever tried to make angled pours without this tool! Now I am in love with angled pours! Please note, this is my first try so I guessed the angle wrong and tried to move it during the first pour, so it is slightly uneven.
Another success. I love this mold. I needed a tall and skinny mold that would hold 71-73 ounces of oils; that's what I work with and what works for me. This mold, like all of Custom Crafts products, is extremely well made. I like that the sides slide up and off of the mold, making the silicone mold easy to remove when it's full of hardened soap. I'm glad the ends stay put making it easy to move if necessary.
I'll be back for another one soon. I'm also looking forward to catching a mystery box sometime. Thank you, Alex for your hard work.

I love the mold. It is beautiful, sturdy, and very well designed. I make transparent soap bases from scratch, so with this transparent mold, I can peep inside and check on the transparancy of the soap and don't have to worry about any leak. I just love it. The customer service is top notch. Alex is very responsive to the messages sent and very helpful. The delivery is reasonable too for me who live on the other side of the world. Easy to use, very well built, perfect cuts every time, allows for so many different ways of cutting, I could go on and on .. this is the best soap cutter I have ever used! I have put away all my other cutters. It's perfect. And beautiful.
