"Caterpillar" soap cutting station

I tried horizontal and vertical cutting. It is accurate and easy to use. I can only recommend it!

Best soap cutter for cutting my slab into loaves. The larger opening allows for my designs to slide through easily without getting smashed. So happy I purchased the Caterpillar cutter.

I had to watch the tutorial online. Once I did, it was smooth sailing. I was very intimidated by the size of the batch from the Goliath mold, and the caterpillar chopped it down to size with ease. I was able to cut everything from my regular sized soap bars all the way down to 1 inch by 1 inch sample bars with no issues at all.

It is sturdy and well built. Worth every penny.

This piece is built so well its work is very penny. No instructions are sent but nothing yoy tube can’t handle. Service is slow like others said but it’s worth the wait.

I have ordered about 6-7 of their products they are so premium and well made products. Im gonna have them to make me some custom molds for my business.

The Caterpillar is beautiful and sturdy,.like it will last a good long time. It cuts beautifully and the package came with every possible tool, including a metal ruler. Great job

I have wanted a slab cutter and a bar cutter for over a year, and I'm so thrilled to have this! My hubby is an engineer and a builder and was quite impressed with this.
I made a couple loaves of melt and pour from scratch and wanted to cube them. I set the slab cutter at 1" high and ran it through, move the cutter up an inch, etc etc, then turned the loaf on it's side and proceeded to do the same. Easy 1" cubes!
What helped me make the decision to spend the money on this is my need to cut soaps with heavy grit in them, ie. salt, pumice, sand. My knife always ends up breaking the bottom of each bar. So, this is my next test.
Space is very limited in my soap studio, so having a two-in-one cutter is great. Thanks for a great product!

I had seen the Caterpillar reviewed in a Tree Marie soap video quite some time ago and wanted to get it but put it off because of the cost. But it stayed in my mind and I finally I bought one last month. I had been using a piece of stainless steel shaped like a bench scraper to cut my soap. Since I only make soap for my family I didn't need the Caterpillar, but I don't regret the purchase at all - it is a great tool and it's a pleasure to use. It cuts way better and is very versatile. I can cut lengthwise through my logs which is an advantage for some designs. The magnetized ruler tab is a nice feature. I highly recommend this cutter.

I make soap for fun! So, I’ve been using a plain knife or a a guillotina style cutter.
Not very happy with it, moved on to the Hercules which was highly recommended by the soaper experts. The item is of great quality. The cut size precise. So far I am happy with it and I do recommend this product. Thank you

Wow! Where were you all those years I was trying to cut uniform bars of soap with a knife? This is precision craftsmanship and makes the sliced bars look professional. Now I'm eager for the arrival of my second order--the 11" circular molds and designs as well as the rectangular mold with dividers. I had a vision and was glad I stumbled on la fille de la mer's yt video. I quickly came to the site, spoke with the owner and ordered my cutter.
I used it a couple days after delivery and it executed my vision with ease. My soaps were cut with ease and precision. I got the shape I wanted. Thank you so so much! I will be back!

I make a lot of unusual soaps, and that requires precision and EASE OF USE! I loved that I could switch from cutting the square embeds, to thin strips, to full loafs from my soap slab all within minutes instead of having to re-wire for every but, which is tedious! That all stopped once I got this cutter--thorougly empressed by the quality, as usual from CCT!

Right out the box its beautifully crafted. I’m excited to use this in the next week or so.

I was looking for an easy to use log splitting tool and this is it. No more winding and unwinding wires. I can do more intricate designs now and not worry about losing some of it in the cut. I highly recommend this product.

Bought 2 Groot tall/skinny molds, the caterpillar cutter & the Edgemobile beveler. I like to really test a product, so I've used all these products numerous times before giving my 2 cents in a review.
1st the Groot molds. OMG, best molds ever!! I knew the first time I used them that a real soap maker designed it. Sturdy, cleans up super easy, very durable, love how they're made, This is a mold made last. I love that both sides are removeable. I make goat milk soaps, so if my soap is heating up too much I can remove a side or two to cool it quickly. Placement of the handles is perfect for banging out air bubbles and still keeping a comfortable grip on the mold. The 1" markings, allow for cutting off end pieces without messing up the 1" increments throughout the loaf. I just love these molds!!!
Now onto the caterpillar cutter. Very versatile cutter, easy to use and well made. Has a 3-minute learning curve tops. I wish there were markings to make adjusting the loaf cutter height a bit easier. As a bar cutter it works great. Very pleased with it. I was torn between investing in a multi-bar cutter and the caterpillar, I'm glad I chose the Caterpillar.
Onto the Edgemobile soap beveler. Easy to use. Works well, comfortable in your hand when using. Creates a nice even bevel, not too deep, not too shallow, so not a lot of soap removed. Only downside is it has to be taken apart to be cleaned but it's only takes a minute to do. I used to bevel before curing but I found its less mess on the beveler to wait till after the cure.
Last, the customer service is EXCELLENT!!!. I made a mistake when ordering and reached out through email. Alex was great, she worked with me to get everything squared away. I can't say enough about this company. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

This cutter is so well made it boggles the mind… superior craftsmanship and well worth the money! I used it the minute it was out of box and loved it. I went for the Caterpillar rather than the Hercules as it can cut a little taller loaf. The wait is a little tiresome but it is so worth it in the end. If you are on the fence like I was, don’t be, you will love it!

Finally! Straight cuts! Yay. I am love with the caterpillar cutter. Versatile, straightforward and easy to use and clean. Large enough to get the job done, yet not a space hog. Precision crafted, durable and sturdy. Will definitely recommend and will be back.

The Caterpiller Soap Cutting station is great. My soap bars were cut even. The wire cut through the soap like butter. The construction of the of the soap cutter is top notch. I look forward to using it for many years to come.
