Edgemobile 2.0 Soap beveler

My Edgemobile 2.0 arrived a few days ago, and I have used it. It’s the best thing ever. It works well, and my soaps are looking beautiful. Prior to using Edgemobile 2.0 I had tried other tools that others recommended but none of it did the job. Edgemobile 2.0 does the job, and it is very easy to use. I highly recommend this tool if you are looking for something to help smooth the edges of your handmade soap bars.

La herramienta es fabulosa. Deliciosamente diseñada y acabada.
Te recomiendo que dejes endurecer un poco tus jabones, luego de cortarlos, para que no se marquen lateralmente al pasarlos por el biselador. Tampoco te pases de dureza, solo el exterior.
Gracias a Alex por su atención y amabilidad. Es una pena estar tan lejos, por lo que sale un poco caro el envío y las tasas aduaneras. Si no fuese así, le compraría todo lo que necesito.

I ordered three of these because I trusted Custom Craft Tools!
I sometimes have friends come by and help me bevel and label soap. I have four soap bevelers, which forced me to limit the number of participants… and the bevelers I’d been using cost more than $100!
This was a much more reasonable alternative that works GREAT! I love that the blade can be replaced with a standard X-acto blade if/when it gets dull and that it’s adjustable!

(I may actually buy more, lol!)

The beveling tool is the top soap, my potato peeler is the bottom soap pictured. Love this tool! The depth of the bevel is easily adjusted. Very happy with this tool!

Oh I love this beveler. I can be a little bit cack-handed with the vegetable peeler I was using before, but this zips along like a dream. It has highlighted how unevenly cut my bars of soap are (or were, as I got the caterpillar too!), so I will say that if you want the best most beautiful and even bevels all the way round, you need to take time cut nice even bars of soap. One last thing which I guess isn’t that vital, but this has a really nice comforting heaviness in the hand.

I’ve gone thru many types of bevelers and hated them all so much that I gave up on the concept. This beveler is perfect for getting a nice beveled edge and only takes a little corner off. This is a soap I just cut today and even as a new soap it beveled perfectly!!

I gave up bevelling the edges of my soap. I figured why remove soap the customer is paying for anyway, especially if it looks like it got removed by a 3 year old using their teeth??

BUT then I bought the Edgemobile. Worth every single penny. Vendor is super helpful with questions about blades etc. Now I want to bevel the edges of everything in my life!

When I say this was the best soap tool purchase I’ve made. I was using a potato peeler and a mandolin for my beveling before and my bars always looked like a kindergartner had done it 🫣 There is such a difference in the appearance of the bars now. The edgemobile’s design makes sure the bevels are even and consistent. Super professional looking! Helpful tip: when you get it, adjust the blade by loosening the knob and sliding the blade up higher. I spent a good 5 minutes wondering why no soap was being cut until I actually read the enclosed instructions that said the blade was adjustable. So tip #2 maybe read the instructions first too 😅

Like a race car with our wheels. This thing is amazing. Super Light weight and because of the materials she glides the sides with ease and precision. I bought extra blades but the blade that came with it never seems to dull. Everything about this equipment delights in its usefulness. When she needs a cleaning simply soak for a few moments in a warm bath of water then rinse and she looks as good as the day I got her. I love this tool so much I bought a second for my curing building. The more time I spend on this site the more I spend. Lol.
