Description

Passion, jealousy, and the whims of the gods—Io’s story is Greek mythology at its most dramatic, with little mercy for the woman at its heart...

Named after this mythological heroine, Io by CustomCraftTools is a square slab soap mold with 10 × 10 × 4″ inner dimensions. Its compact shape and generous depth offer room for tall bars, layers, and swirls.

All materials used in the mold are food-safe. The sturdy base is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic with a wood-like texture, while the flexible platinum silicone liner peels away for easy unmolding.

The 10 × 10″ slab divides evenly into four 2.5″ loaves or five 2″ loaves. With a full 4″ pour and bars cut 1″ thick, you can make:

40 soap bars measuring 2.5 × 4 × 1″
50 soap bars measuring 2 × 4 × 1″

Prefer shorter bars? Simply adjust your pour height.

Maker notes

One soapmaker pointed out a handy detail: with their recipe, Io makes 40 bars measuring 2.5 × 4 × 1″ and uses 8 oz of fragrance oil. That means one 16 oz bottle covers two full batches—80 bars.

They called it a “magic size.” We thought that was worth sharing :)
