Compact in size, serious about the cut. Orpheus brings the precision and solid construction of our larger cutters into a smaller footprint - smooth, controlled, and built for soapmakers who simply don’t need a full-size Boreas.

Its smaller frame makes Orpheus lighter and easier to handle, while fewer wires mean less resistance as they travel through the soap. The result is a cutter that requires less force to operate - a great choice for smaller batches and soapmakers who prefer a lighter, easier cutting experience.

The removable table insert makes everyday cleaning quick and easy. When it’s time to replace a wire, our user-friendly wire positioning and tensioning system makes the process simple. Wires can be installed in 1/8'' increments, allowing Orpheus to be reconfigured for different bar thicknesses.

Please note: Changing the bar thickness requires restringing all wires at the new spacing and using a separate table insert made for that thickness. Spare table inserts are available separately.

Specs

• Materials: Food-grade stainless steel and HDPE plastic.

• Cutting capacity: Fits loaves with a 5.5" × 5.5" profile and larger.

• Wire span: 12" from the first to the last wire position (when set for 1'' wide bars).

• Bar width options: Wire slots placed in 1/8" increments, allowing you to set your bar thickness in small, consistent steps (you will need a spare table insert for each cutting setup).

• Standard cutting width: We tested the cutter with 0.5'', 0.75'', 1'', 1.25, 1.5'' wide bars - contact us for other spacing options.
